Consonance Cyber-10 is a highly flexible, interesting and compact vacuum tube amplifier. It is due to the wide range of power tubes that can be used in the same amplifier and the use of different associated equipment to realize various sound effects. Fun factor number one is the use of widely available driver triodes like the ECC83/12AX7 and ECC82/12AU7. This gives the user a lot of tube rolling choices. Fun factor number two is the use of 6550, EL34, 6L6GC/KT66 as final stage power tubes. Through the use of the bias potentiometer the change of power tube types can easily be done. Fun factor number three is the provision of a ultralinear/triode operating mode switch which users can use to cater for different types of music and speaker matching to achieve satisfying results. The small size design enable the Cyber-10 to be enjoyed in smaller environment. If you want to enjoy music just by yourself, you can switch to headphone output and use any headphone with an impedance from 10 to 600 ohm. This becomes the fun factor number four. The schematic used is the most simple and classic among vacuum tube amplifiers, consists of two triodes driving a power tube. All of the tubes are operating at class A, the most optimal operating point. The use of simple circuitry, best selection of parts and the hard wiring workmanship makes the Cyber-10 like a vintage red wine with lasting musical flavour. CONTROL FUNCTIONS: Volume,
